This song is about God’s vision and His heartbeat for the lost and the world. As mentioned in the passage, in the last days people will be flooding to this place (the mountain of God). It is also a vision that God planted in me when I was worshipping God, that people will flood to our church and the place is overfilled with people singing praises to God and worshipping Him. The days are coming when God’s glory will be revealed and men will be drawn to that place.
In the verse, it talks about who God is and how his presence is going to draw people from all over to him. The pre-chorus is a vision of people coming in to praise God and how the mountain of God will and should look like (overflooding with people in repentance and in awe of God’s presence). The chorus shows that revival has finally occurred in the heart of men and in the cities, men rejoiced and there is such joy in the atmosphere because many sinners are saved.
I wrote this song as a love song expressing my gratitude to God. As you listen to this song, I pray that you will be reminded of the many things that God has done in your life. Be it in your heart, life, family, friends, study and career. Count your blessings J Remember Him – The God that is always faithful and there for you.
Verse 1: C F G (x2) C F G C F G C I love the way you touch my heart The way you work in my life Pouring your spirit into my soul Give me the strength that I need
Verse 2: Thank you lord for your love You have faithfully seek me Though I’m small, weak and I have sins You still love me as I am You still love me as I am
Chorus: C G Am G (x3) F G C You strengthen me when I’m weak Give me hope when I’m lost You pursuit me when I’m far, when I’m caught in stubbornness You heal my heart and make me strong Your love leads me back to you Now I’m here standing right next to you
I was inspired to write this song when I was reflecting about my life before I came to know God. How many times I felt lost and lonely and often questioned about meaning of life and my purpose to be here. But when I took the step and chose to be with God, life gradually make sense and I started understanding my purpose for being here and how much God’s love and grace is sufficient to see me through even the toughest times. I pray that this song will reach those who are seeking for more in life, to reach those who are lost and weary. Jesus is the only way to life, He has come so that we can have life to the fullest. I pray that one day you will be able to experience this too.

This song is about God’s constant faithfulness in our life and how his love is everlasting. God’s faithfulness and love is everlasting because of His character. As mentioned in psalm 48:14, He is our God forever and ever and He can never disown Himself. He is our guide to the end, never giving up. I was very touched by Psalm 48 especially verse 14 as it truly reminded me of who God is and His character. Wrote this song in April and it really brought much joy and revival into my hearts, knowing that God is truly with me even through the hard times and that He is and He will forever be my strength and my guide.
Psalm 46 talks about despite of the many circumstances that could happen in our lives (verse of the song), God is always faithful and He will surely see us through. However, many of us often fail to realize what God can do and often fail to look beyond the many temporal circumstances. This song is written in response to psalm 46, claiming God’s promises, almightiness and power into our life. Trusting in His name, His character and promises to us. This song is about a heart that is convicted of who God is in our life. In the bridge, it ends with a heart being in awe of His presence in our life. God is just simply awesome and we cant stop ourselves from praising Him, lifting up our hands in surrender to his majesty.
Verse 1: GCD GCD GCDCAmD
Lord you are my refuge Lord you are my strength In the trouble times You rescue me
Verse 2: Though the earth may crash Mountains fall in the sea Waters roar and soar I won’t fear them
Chorus 1: CDG CDG CD GC CCD There is a river where the most High dwells Drink from it I will not fall Flowing within me His strength will lift me up God of Jacob my fortress (repeat)
Chorus 2: The Lord Almighty is within me I’ll be still and trust in your name Exalted among nations Exalted in the earth You are my awesome Lord
Bridge: GCDG You are awesome, God You are awesome, God Shout my praises to the king You are awesome, God You are awesome, God Lift my arms and clap my hands (repeat)
